Dr. Dennis Schmoltzi
Dennis studied business administration at the European Business School in Oestrich Winkel and completed his doctorate at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. Before founding his own company, Dennis had been working for seven years as a consultant for financial services, pharma and healthcare companies at the management consultancy McKinsey. In 2013 he founded Emma – The Sleep Company together with Manuel Müller.
Manuel set up his first start-up at the age of 19. Parallel to being an entrepreneur, he studied Art History at the Philipps-University in Marburg and did his MBA at the WHU, in Vallendar and the Kellogg School of Management, in Chicago. Today he is completing a master’s in psychology at Harvard University. Before founding Emma, he had more than 10 years of experience in the development, production, and distribution of mattresses from his first own business: medical-therapeutic mattresses.
